What We Believe
God
We believe in one God, who is spirit in nature and manifests Himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Son
We believe Jesus Christ came to earth, taking the form of a man, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a perfect life on earth, yet willing gave up His life, dying on the cross to pay the cost for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the grave defeating sin and death. After His resurrection, He was seen by over 500 witnesses before ascending into heaven.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity. After a person receives Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit comes alongside them and directs their lives.
Salvation
We believe that all of mankind has fallen and is in need of God's grace. No one can achieve salvation for themselves because Jesus Christ is the only way for us to be right with God.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible was inspired by God and holds ultimate authority for the Christian's life.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe that baptism is a symbolic profession of faith. We believe that the Lord's supper is symbolic and to be done in remembrance of the life and death of Jesus Christ.
Church Membership
Church membership is the way we do life together. It begins when a person takes the first step of faith by accepting Jesus as Savior, and is followed by ordinates of baptism.
